Independence

Our lists are editorial. No business can pay to be listed, ranked or written about, and we don't take money from the businesses we cover. See Independence.

Accuracy

We only state facts we can source: the business's own website, Google reviews, the NZ Companies Office and official registers. Each list shows when its data was last checked. We don't claim to have used a business unless we say so on the page.

Corrections

Corrections are free. Email hello@browniepoints.co.nz with the page, what's wrong and how we can check it. We aim to reply within 5 working days. If a fact is wrong we fix it and update the page's date; if the underlying review or register data has changed, we re-check it and re-apply the same method. Requests to remove or move a business are handled the same way: we correct inaccurate, out-of-date or private information, but a rank only changes when the data does.
